One dead, one injured in separate Oakland shootings

One person dead and one person injured in Oakland.

One person was killed and another was in critical condition after two separate shootings in Oakland on Saturday.

The first shooting was reported by a caller near the area of Edes Avenue and Hegenberger Road. There was a man at the scene with a gunshot wound. He is currently in a critical condition.

This shooting is being investigated by the police. If you have more information about the incident you are asked to contact the Felony assault unite.

The second shooting happened on the 1600 block of 35th Avenue. Police began life saving measures after they found a gunshot victim. They died of their injuries after being taken to a local hospital.
