In a press release published on Tuesday, Pacific Power announced that Scott Salazar will be joining the company in the role of regional business manager for Lane, Linn, and Marion counties in the state of Oregon.
According to Pacific Power, Scott will be responsible for managing the accounts of Pacific Power’s big commercial and industrial customers in the area in his new post, in addition to establishing partnerships between the government and the community and resolving critical issues that are affecting those areas.
Salazar remarked, “It is an honor to be chosen, and I recognize that this role comes with a great deal of responsibility,” and he emphasized that he was aware of the burden that comes with the post.
Born and raised in Marion County, Scott has a strong background in customer service, account management and economic development. In this role he will maintain the company’s relationships in his communities of responsibility and manage the accounts of Pacific Power’s large commercial and industrial customers in the area.
“I am looking forward to spending more time in each community so that I can gain a deeper understanding of the things that are important to them and the ways in which I can assist them through Pacific Power,”
After serving as an economic development for Marion County, Salazar is now a part of the team. In that role, he was responsible for expanding the range of options available to local businesses.

Salazar will serve as the primary point of contact for groups representing the community, businesses, and the local government. He will be working alongside a group of managers that are responsible for Pacific Power’s service region.
