A pre-launch event was held at the headquarters of Dubai Chambers on May 22, 2023, with the goal of empowering Chinese technologies and innovative companies to leverage Dubai as a global location for international expansion, thereby strengthening bilateral relations and fostering innovation between Dubai and China.

NewLink, a Chinese digital energy services company, was also invited as a distinguished VIP delegate to the ceremony, further strengthening its position as one of Dubai Chambers’ earliest strategic partners and advisors. At a crucial juncture, both parties formally inked a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC), reaffirming their commitment to expand their collaboration and forge stronger connections.
Dubai Chambers and NewLink Form Strategic Partnership to Promote Bilateral Innovation Exchange and Collaboration
In his address, H.E. Mohammad Ali Lootah, the President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, highlighted the strategic advantages of Dubai, stating, “With its comprehensive logistics infrastructure and strategic location along the New Silk Road, Dubai serves as a convenient gateway to the MENA markets, enabling leading Chinese companies to seize opportunities and thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.”
Dubai Chambers will provide NewLink and companies introduced by NewLink with the necessary information and assistance to register commercial licenses in Dubai as part of the partnership. By expediting administrative procedures and providing essential guidance, Dubai Chambers aims to create a favorable business environment for multinational corporations as they enter the Dubai market. In addition, it emphasizes its dedication to fostering and promoting business development.
NewLink will work closely with Dubai Chambers as a trusted advisor and partner to navigate the complexities of the China market. NewLink, utilizing its expertise, will introduce portfolio companies and associate enterprises to the China Innovation Centre for the purpose of showcasing cutting-edge Chinese technologies and promoting Dubai internationally.
These steps will pave the way for potential investments and establish mutually beneficial relationships between Chinese businesses and Dubai’s thriving business environment.
In addition, NewLink and Dubai Chambers discussed opportunities to exhibit China’s green and cleantech technologies at the impending COP28 UAE, which is scheduled for later this year. Both parties emphasized their shared objectives of promoting sustainable practices and addressing climate change issues.
In accordance with the MOU, the parties will actively pursue opportunities to leverage the synergies between NewLink’s well-established presence in the new energy industry and Dubai Chambers’ comprehensive one-stop service capabilities, in order to empower businesses, facilitate market access, and drive technological advancements for a prosperous future.
