The Davenport apartment building’s renters are eligible to apply for loans of up to $40,000 to replace their personal belongings that were lost or damaged as a result of the building’s collapse.
In addition, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is providing companies located in and surrounding the building with loans of up to $2,000,000 to compensate for economic and physical property damages sustained as a result of the building’s collapse.
Renters or companies who have been adversely affected by the collapse may submit a loan request online or in person at the Lincoln Community Center in Davenport, which can be found at 318 E. 7th St. The Small Business Administration will accept applications in room 107 from Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
