Another outpost of Surf Taco, a restaurant chain noted for serving a fusion of Mexican and Californian food, has just shut down in the state of New Jersey.
On April 23, the restaurant’s location in Jackson Township was closed forever. It may be found at number 21 Hope Chapel Road.
Since the year 2020, New Jersey has seen the closure of five different Surf Taco locations. The other ones were in Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island, Hoboken, New Brunswick, and Princeton.
There are now nine Surf Taco restaurants operating in the state of New Jersey, in addition to one in Jupiter, Florida.
On the Facebook page of the Jackson eatery, there was a message that stated, “Thank you for 17 years!” We opened our doors at Surf Taco Jackson in April of 2006, and the local community continued to support us during the subsequent 17 years. We would like to express our gratitude to you for your continued support.
In addition to chicken tenders, nachos, and fries, the menu at this franchise restaurant also includes tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and bowls.
The Baja surf taco from Surf Taco was given a position on the most recent list of New Jersey’s 31 best tacos by NJ.com. Additionally, the Baja-style surf burrito from Surf Taco was given a spot on the ranking of New Jersey’s 18 best burritos by NJ.com.
